Open day 27.02.2023
Right at the beginning of the year, the time had come: the students and teachers of the International Secondary School Neukirchen cordially invited to the Open Day on 27.01.2023 from 15:00-18:00, this year also finally live and on site.
SIS namesake Prof. Dr. Carl H. Hahn dies at the age of 96
It was with great sadness that we received the news of the death of Prof. Dr. Carl H. Hahn.
Christmas market
On 15.12.22 our traditional Christmas market with the Christmas concert finally took place again in the St. Martin's Church in Neukirchen. It was an all-around successful afternoon and we were very happy about the many visitors. Many thanks to all participants and all hard-working helpers.
Online Advent Calendar 2022
During the 2022 Christmas season, we opened our room doors and allowed a look behind the scenes. Literally, a little Advent calendar door appeared every day.
Gingerbread Tournament
On 11/22/2022, our traditional gingerbread tournament took place. This is a two-field ball tournament between our 5th graders and ball-loving elementary school students from surrounding elementary schools.
Children help children
This year, we again participated in the "Children help children" campaign. In order to bring a little Christmas joy to children from Eastern European countries, boxes are packed and sent during this campaign in the pre-Christmas period.
Autumn festival with the elementary school Neukirchen
On the last day before the fall vacations, our students took care of the elementary school students of the Landschulzentrum Neukirchen in the fall workshop.
The good preparations of the individual stations paid off. It was a successful day with lots of action, games and fun for everyone involved.
Summer concert June 2022
On 30.06. it was finally time again. The summer concert could take place again after the long lasting corona time. This year about 60 students were able to fascinate a completely filled hall with their unique talents from singing to instrumental interludes.
Family Sports Festival 2022
On 22.09.22 the family sports festival took place again. There were many different stations that had to be mastered as a family, e.g. blind soccer, wheelbarrow race or can throwing. Many thanks at this point to class 8, who took over both the preparation and supervision of the individual stations as well as the catering for the guests. All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon, which ended very successfully, especially for class 5b. As the class with the most students present, they received the class prize and were very happy about it.
