Right at the beginning of the year, the time had come: the students and teachers of the International Secondary School Neukirchen cordially invited to the Open Day on 27.01.2023 from 15:00-18:00, this year also finally live and on site.

The interested parents and future students were again offered an extensive program. In addition to the clear presentation of the individual subjects by our teachers and students, the visitors could inform themselves about the school concept, the all-day offers or the school clothing. The practical advisor and the career counselor also answered all questions on the subject of career orientation. The class 10 students took care of the physical well-being in the student café. In addition, this year we also integrated our new kitchen in the neighboring Gräfenmühle of the Landschaftspflegeverband Westsachsen e.V.. Here the visitors could (let) prepare themselves a sandwich or a waffle. In order to guide the interested visitors through the school building, there was again our school building riddle in addition to an information flyer. Here, a question had to be answered for each room in order to find out the solution word. In addition, the children could get a participation stamp for the activities in the respective rooms. The elementary school students were very happy about this, puzzled diligently and received a small reward for their efforts at the end.

The entire school building was bustling with activity and we were once again pleased to welcome a large number of visitors, especially many former students.
