On January 15, 2026, the International High School in Neukirchen took part in the "Youth Training for the Olympics – Artistic Gymnastics" competition for the first time.
Lotta, Madelaine, Diane, and Anna from grades 5 and 6 traveled to the Albert Schweitzer Gymnasium in Limbach-Oberfrohna together with their teacher Ms. Flaquer and their coach Melanie Peuker. There, the team had to demonstrate their gymnastic and athletic skills in both individual and synchronized events.
In the end, there was a tie with another team for second place. In such cases, the better gymnastic performance, which was demonstrated by our students, decides the outcome. Thus, the girls secured the silver medal.
The team and their two coaches are delighted with this outstanding achievement.
